Summer is in full swing and most outdoor venues have kicked off their concert season. If you’re headed to Saratoga Performing Arts, Wolf Trap, Ravinia, Jiffy Lube Live, or other, you’re best bet is to party on the lawn. These venues have very similar rules regarding what you can and cannot bring. In most cases you can bring the beverages and the food of your choice. However, the rules about some amenities become a bit subjective. It is unlikely that you will be able to enter any venue with scaffolding or a director’s chair. EveryJack visited Ravinia over the past weekend. While in line we observed some security guards saying “no” to fold up tables, while others gave the green light. We had a couple Tables in a Bag over our shoulder. The shape and size of the bag make it look like a foldup chair. Security asked no questions. They are lightweight, easy to set up and tear down, and come in a bag with a carry strap. Additionally, they have a good gifting price point for your concert going friends and family.
