Following up last week’s theme, when we went way back, this week we’re staying way back. Way back and real low with the Puma Suede Classic. Based on the popularity of this kick in the early rap and hip hop community, you’d probably think they were created in the 1980s, but the Puma Suede Classic was introduced in 1968. Respect.
They come in about a million billion color combinations, but this ketchup & mustard combo is dope.
Did you know?: Puma was formed in 1924 as Gebrüder Dassler Schuhfabrik by Adolf and Rudolf Dassler. The relationship between the two brothers deteriorated until the two agreed to split in 1948, forming two separate entities, Adidas and Puma. (Wikipedia)
